Liked: We arrived early in the morning and were still able to check in, thanks to the very helpful staff. We managed to get a very comfortable room with a great view on the city.
Disliked: The seating area for breakfast was rather small and one had to use paper plates.

Liked: Loved this property! It was close to transit and stores. The hotel was very clean, it was easy to find parking so we didn?t even need to pay for parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure our stay was exceptional. The room itself was very clean.
Disliked: The breakfast could be improved but not horrible.

Great value (for NY)
Liked: The hotel is 2 min walk away to the Queens Plaza subway station. The area seemed busy and safe 24h.
For New York, this hotel was a great value; the room was big and decent.
Breakfast was alright.
Disliked: Since it was October, the AC hadn?t been changed to heater yet and the room was a bit cold.

Liked: Great location. A quick walk from the subway (even in the pouring rain it wasn't bad) and about 15 minutes to midtown Manhattan. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok.
Disliked: BUT the hotel was in bad shape. The sink didn't drain, the iron didn't have a cap so when you tried to iron it spilled on your clothes, the bed was old and had a hole /depression in it from where people had generally slept. For the price, it was not a good value. Just because you're in an expensive market should not mean Marriott lowers the criteria for a Fairfield Inn's quality standards.
