Liked: Checked in at night. The front desk guy was on the phone with someone and did not acknowledge us until he was off the phone vs. something like "welcome to ( insert ), I'll be right with you". There was an overt feeling of almost zero staff interaction ... which is what makes or breaks any "HOSPITALITY" environment. I found this lack of engagement disappointing; especially from a parent brand like Marriott that at one time ... made personnel training & development its highest priority. Anyone can build a nice hotel, however the "hotel experience" is about people buying from people that make them feel good in doing so."
