Meh.

Liked: Front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. I’ve returned to this location for 5 years and know that I will be helped and greeted. Rooms are neat.
Disliked: The variety of breakfast has reduced and the quality of coffee items have declined. The bed in the suite I stayed in was very hard, no cushion to it. The treadmills either do not work or are experiencing wear and for the price we pay, all of these things should be considered to be improved. Even though I return to this location, I am considering other options because it’s not as exceptional as it once was.

Overall, more than an adequate...

Liked: The lobby was clean and inviting, all of the staff was helpful and attentive, and the rooms were very comfortable for a short stay. Our room was quiet and clean with a lot of natural light. The parking was sufficient and we felt our vehicle was safe overnight.
Disliked: The hallways outside of the rooms were quite humid, but it's a very minor inconvenience compared to the rest of the facility. It's summer in Houston, humidity is a given, I would say! There seemed to be a lot of children at the time of our stay, but I wouldn't say the hotel is "kid-centric," just something I noticed.
