Great staff.

Liked: Staff were very helpful and friendly.

After making a reservation at this property in early June for a mid August event, we arrived at the property only to find that we had been bumped from a smoking room to a non smoking room. We were told that our room was close to the front of the hotel and we could just go outside to smoke. Well I didn't appreciate their lack of consideration in this matter. We found other accommodations and am still waiting on my refund. If you want to be treated like a second class person, this is the hotel for you!

Disliked: I had to change my own bed linen after informing housekeeping that it needed to be change. I also never received any clean towels after I asked for those as well.

Liked: Nice hotel, some staff very helpful others not so. Member of staff who went back to my original room to help me look for my shirt was so kind and helpful. Thank you.
Disliked: After explaining to reception that room 312 is super noisy from the lift and I needed a good night sleep as it was my daughter’s wedding the next day, reception was very unhelpful! I asked to be moved. Was told no rooms free, until I said , fine I’ll find another hotel. All of a sudden, there was a room free, which was always the case! Case of I can’t be bothered. It felt. When I suggested the management spend a night in certain rooms to experience what the customer experiences. Shock horror was on her face. So mixed reviews. Just shows what front desk staff can give an impression off! DO NOT STAY NEAR THE LIFT!!! It’s noisy and every 30 seconds you hear the bleeps and the doors. Maybe worth looking at this and spend a few pound on soundproofing??? Honestly, I’ll put up with most things. But that is ridicules to charge for rooms like that. Management, if you read this. Please stay in your own rooms for a night and experience it.
