Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Grand Rapids

Bed comfortable with great pillows. It was an excellent place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Liked: I canceled my registration with a Afro-American young woman the day of my appt. On face shown to be fixing up; bedbugs; police shot that week stayed at another hotel. We are seniors.
Disliked: Please refund money to my son who paid on credit card. Jamel Smith.

Liked: Breakfast satisfactorily
Disliked: 3 days and no refresh of the room. I did request it. Under renovation. Outdated rooms, beds, linens, flooring.Bfast was good, but the bfast service continually needed to be reminded of refills. Ice machine broken.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The property had no extra blankets, nothing laid out in the bathroom and cracked tile and mold in the bathroom. The hallway was dirty with a front desk person that was unfriendly.

Basic

Liked: The GM who checked us in, was wonderful polite, the lady who came in after her not so much. The key cards kept deactivating, she seemed annoyed we would need it reactivated several times. The lady who worked the front desk and did breakfast on Sunday 3/23 was also wonderful! The rooms were clean but what’s with the floor? We stayed in room 105-it was bumpy all over the place? The AC barely worked and the beds can’t be queen sized?
