Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Gainesville I-35

I would stay again, but...

Liked: Went to a concert at Winstar, this hotel is in an excellent location for going there and back, 5 minutes. The hotel and staff were perfect. Our room was on the freeway side, so there was highway noise, not too terrible, but noticeable. . The breakfast was hot and good with plenty of selections.
Disliked: The biggest issue we had was the bed was so uncomfortable, it appeared to have a low spot on each side with the center visibly higher, and the pillows were non-existent, two pillows barely raised your head above shoulder level when sleeping on your side. The price was raised almost 200.00 due to the event, because the previous Saturday the rates were 172.00 not 372.00

Liked: I enjoyed the space of the room and the high ceilings. Most hotel rooms I've been in are cramped. I loved the breakfast scones. Staff was very friendly. At first I wasn't too keen to be on the first floor but actually enjoyed how close I was to breakfast area and my car.
Disliked: The fridge in room 104 was loud and woke me up. I unplugged the microwave by mistake but when I plugged the microwave back in it made a beeping sound. So I unplugged the microwave and fridge and slept well. The highway noise was minimal.
