Passable

Only stay as last resort...

Liked: The price was the only part I liked about my stay
Disliked: The hotel was clearly worn down. All the light fixtures in the hallways had damaged light shades on them. I did not see a single one not damaged. Our room had stains on the bed skirts, curtains and was generally dirty. We had issues with noise from the pool and when we attempted to call the front desk, we discovered the in-room phone didn't work yet it was plugged into the wall. We called on our cell phone and the front desk person on Saturday 3/23 night said, I have told them to quiet down but they won't listen. Not helpful at all. Definitely will not stay at this property ever again.

Liked: Location and price
Disliked: My room was dirty on arrival and multiple items in the room were not well maintained. I ended up staying longer in Fort Wayne but switched to a different hotel because this one did not meet the standards I expect from a Marriott brand hotel.

Over all great stay!

Disliked: Hot tub could of been hotter, pool could of been opened like they said it was on the phone when I called prior to staying.

Looks can be deceiving.

Liked: The bed was very comfortable and the shower products smelled great. Some of the front desk staff were lovely, specifically the older lady working nights and the gentleman working mid shift. I did not get their names. The pool and hot tub hours are later than most places. The room was clean and the carpet is nice.
Disliked: -Advertised 12 PM (noon) check out in emails and on the backs of the room doors. This is a lie. Check out is 11:00 AM but they don’t bother to inform that, and the woman who checked us in informed us that check out was noon. -No “do not disturb” sign. We were woken up 3 times within 2 hours on the day of our departure. We had confirmed a late check out of 12 PM. We were woken up at 8:30 AM, 9:00 AM, and 10:30 AM. At which point I was so angry, we packed and left. If they wanted us out so badly, we’d leave. I did in fact call the second time we were woken up. Front desk staff indicated that whomever I spoke to the previous night did not update the computer and she would remedy this so we wouldn’t be further bothered. But she did not do so because we were bothered a third time. -Laundry room door broken. No sign to indicate this. We initially closed the door that had been propped open and the lady at the front desk wasn’t sure she could open the door again. Thankfully, she did, but there should have been a sign. There never was even after our incident.-The beverages in the snack shop are grossly overpriced. -There was a pair of men’s underwear in the pool skimmer that front desk indicated had probably been there since the weekend. Our stay was a Monday-Wednesday. We were in the pool both Monday and Tuesday. We saw the underwear on Tuesday. -The pool and hot tub are in disrepair and need a major renovation. Mildew stains, rust, broken wall tiles, chipped paint, etc. -The wifi is awful and did not allow us to log in. I had to upgrade my phone plan to use a personal hotspot for the duration of our stay.

Cozy but nasty.

Liked: Very comfy bed. Free breakfast. Has a hot tub. Nice staff. Nice location next to a lot of restaurants and other good places for passing time.
Disliked: Hot tub wasn’t working properly because there was a pipe sound and the jets did not spit out water like it’s supposed to. Bottom of tub was stained yellow. Conditioner bottle provided by the hotel was empty. Not many breakfast options.

Liked: Everything was fantastic! The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff members were courteous and professional.
