Abel, Kawkawlin, visiting The Loving Touch Ferndale Sun, 17 March 2024
Stayed here while attending a concert in Ferndale. Convenient location right off I-75 and close to the venue. Other than the lobby and hallway area being hotter than hell, I have no complaints. The room was clean and adequate and the surrounding area is decent enough. I would definitely stay here again.
Liked: Great location.
Disliked: Lobby and hallway area was hotter than hell.

Superb
Liked: The location and Facilities is good. It's clean and comfortable. We will re-book in the future.
Disliked: We had booked with this hotel many times. Every time the staff could not find our booking either name or booking reference at beginning when we checked in the hotel. It always had trouble to find our booking. Even with the same staff. The staff or the hotel booking system need improvement.

Overall, a comfortable stay with...
Liked: The hotel breakfast was overall a great experience! There were plenty of choices to suit different preferences, and the area was clean and well-organized. I especially appreciated the clearly posted instructions for the waffle machines—super helpful! My only (very minor) complaint was that the oatmeal was a bit watery and lacked flavor, but everything else made up for it. A solid start to the day!
Disliked: I was disappointed to find that both the shampoo and shower gel bottles were completely empty—something I unfortunately didn’t realize until I was already in the shower. I stepped out, called the front desk hoping someone could bring replacements, but was instead asked to come down and get them myself. This meant I had to fully dry off and get dressed, only to return to the room and jump back into the shower. It was inconvenient and avoidable—stocking those essentials should be a standard part of room prep.
