Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Canton South

The hotel is very clean, possibly a newer hotel. The house keeping and the person taking care of breakfast was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good!

Liked: The housekeepers were very friendly. Very impressed how they went out of there way to acknowledge us.
Disliked: Our fridge had food from the guest before us left in there. Very disgusting! When we checked in the people at the front desk were more concerned with talking to their friends and eating the cookies more than taking care of us.

It was a bit below...

Liked: The staff, especially the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: The room smelled of smoke and could’ve been cleaner. There was only two carts to bring your luggage to and from your room, with one unusable due to a wheel completely immobile. The pool was unusable due to being too cold.

Disliked: Toilet seat was dirty upon arrival

Nice Hotel

Liked: Location. Parking. Room was comfortable
Disliked: Not enough towels. They only clean every other day . I think they should at least make the bed, take out dirty towels and put in fresh towels and empty the trash especially seeing there are only 2 small trash cans in the room.

Liked: Almost everything!!! Very clean and very nice.
Disliked: Just one incident happened. There was a little debris in the pool and my son got a small cut on his toe. They shut the pool down immediately! We were understanding and forgiving. I still would stay here again, because it is a very nice place to stay. You have to understand things happen beyond people’s control, and it was very minor.

A safe bet

Liked: Very clean and a good hot breakfast. And they contacted me when I left an item behind, which I really appreciated.

Wouldn't of booked hotel if...

Liked: Bed was comfortable and had a really great shower. Check in and out the staff was very friendly but other than that I didn't see anyone at the desk.
Disliked: I was very disappointed that they had the pool closed and I wasn't informed about it at all. When I went to look at the pool I saw the sign. I specifically only book hotels with pools so I can do my physical therapy. So I didn't get up for breakfast either so I could rest more.

Nice Getaway

Liked: The location was quiet and remote. I loved the breakfast and the staff was accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Canton. Very nice rooms with big bathrooms.
Disliked: There was nothing about this hotel that I did not like.

Great break on road trip.
