Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Calgary Downtown

The valet parking guy was awesome and friendly. My complaint is, I went for breakfast and when I got back to my room my key card didn't work. The desk attendant was quite rude about it, made me feel bad like it was my fault and then made me show my ID when I got back in my room. He could use some customer service training since, as I patiently waited at the desk, he was flirting with a group of female guests. Due to this and the fact I couldn't close the curtains I will not be a returning patron. It was very clean though and my breakfast was good. Big thank you to the valet dude too!

Disliked: Not being able to close heavy curtains and block out the 5a.m. sunrise.

Liked: The property was pretty except the parking was annoying.
Disliked: The first staff member was pretty good but it was very unpleasant and disappointing to talk to the new receptionist next morning.
