Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boston Waltham

Not a bad stay, but...

Liked: The room and facilities were mostly clean, though there was noticeable dust in some of the main areas (hallways, elevators, etc.).
Disliked: The location was not as convenient to where we were traveling as described and the surrounding area really wasn’t all that nice. Our room had a lot of noise from the traffic outside and it got pretty hot in the room at night. The beds were okay, not great but not terrible, but it wasn’t as comfortable of a room as I had hoped. The staff was neither awesome or awful- they were somewhere in between, but definitely less impressive than other Marriott hotels. Overall it was a safe place to rest for the night but overpriced for the level of service and state of the facilities that we experienced. I also was not a fan of being charged for parking given the cost of the room.

Unexpected blows

Liked: The gym the pool. The bigger towels for us plus size girlies.
Disliked: Nobody at the bar or tending to it. I asked front desk staff and was told they don't do room service. I wasn't asking for room service. Language is a barrier. Or played as one. The breakfast wasn't available till 10 when they ran out of stuff they stopped refilling it. I got down there at 9 after my second meeting for work via zoom. Paid for 2 of us to stay only one of us ended up staying never got credit for the one and didn't get breakfast. Asked the woman to refill the waffle mix she came out one side full enough for the third person in front of me to make almost one. I just checked my itemized bill and I had to pay for PARKING when I'm staying at the hotel. Are you kidding. Come on. What am I supposed to do with my vehicle. I can understand if I needed to plug it in. My car barely leaves a carbon footprint.
