A great choice in Athens!

Liked: Hotel was very clean and well-appointed, staff was quite friendly and nice, and our room was large and spacious with all the details you’d want or need.
Disliked: Some of the surrounding area is so-so (drug smell in the parking lot, and were asked for money/food by someone while walking to the car. He was respectful but it was unexpected and made us uncomfortable.) A little farther from the UGA campus than other places we’ve stayed but still accessible.

Liked: standard breakfast. served the purpose. Coffee could have been hotter! Waffles always a favorite, eggs not so much. clean and well kept. will stay again.
Disliked: location is near fire station, so several time that night the fire trucks whet on call full siren! I know they have to, but the first run startled me out of my sleep. View of the repair shop and the car wasn't all that, but I was just there to sleep and move on.

It was a wonderful stay.

Liked: I was told that housekeeping was unavailable. However, no signs were in the room about service. I asked front desk for discount and was told that they would follow up on request. no response after that.
Disliked: No available housekeeping

Marriott hotels are the best...

Liked: Friendly staff, very clean, well appointed rooms, nice lobby and resting area, and better than expected breakfast.
