Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Athens

This was my first visit...

Liked: The breakfast was OK, not great - would have preferred bacon. The staff was friendly and the room was clean.

Wonderful, Kind and Helpful Staff

Liked: I cannot say enough about the staff. I have some mobility issues and was traveling with my two dachshunds. At every turn the staff was so kind and helpful. I had asked for a handicap room and noted that I was bringing the dogs. I was assigned a room right by the door leading to the pet area. They petted and loved on the dogs, rushed to open doors, helped me carry things, and on and on. Even when I said I could handle stuff, everyone I came in contact with insisted on helping. The room was great, the bed comfortable, and the location is right in the middle of everything.

Overal it was good.

Liked: Nice location close to Ohio University
Disliked: Pool and main floor was under construction. Searched and paid extra for these amenities in comparison before booking, but did get to use them.
