Good
Liked: Convenient to highway
Disliked: Construction during the days in the hotel meant the hallway door was open to the outside Alabama heat in the summer.

It was ok, however we...
Liked: Location to eateries was excellent.
Disliked: We were in the room above the pool and it was extremely loud from noise of people outside the pool area. It was like they were sitting by our window even though we were on 2nd floor.

Enjoyed it
Liked: My stay was great. We came for our family reunion and got a great value. Rooms were clean, comfortable and roomy.
Disliked: The only drawback was the fact they were doing some remodeling on the 1st floor and the breakfast area was very small. Overall I’m completely satisfied and will stay again

Not good
Liked: Breakfast was ok
Disliked: Plugs in lamp Next to bed did not work. I had to plug in Across The ran. The remote control only turned on and off went up and down and did not have a guide. I have stayed here many times, and was very disappointed and won’t stay there again.

I recommend new management.
Liked: Not much
Disliked: My wife and daughter got skin infections from the bed. We didn’t use the drawers, but when I checked them upon leaving there was the previous guest’s dirty food plate and fork in one of the drawers. The air conditioner leaked all over the floor. There was so much water leaking in the halls that each floor had Servpro fans and dehumidifiers.

Disliked: I did not know about the extra hidden $50 a night fees they attached so my two night stay so my card was charged a $100 extra that I’m now waiting for a reimbursement for

Liked: The front desk staff was wonderful. The breakfast lady went above and beyond!
Disliked: Everything was ok. The rooms need more lighting. There was a lamp only on one side of the bed. The bath was really dim.Hard to find location! But we found it! L

Fairfield is a hotel we...
Liked: Location off main hwy
Disliked: no ice machine on 2nd floor, bed was uncomfortable on mattress kept sliding off the foundation( down there for surgery) ended up going to another hotel for our last 2 nights in tuscaloosa. Also did not get credited on my marriot account for this stay. My mother asked what time breakfast started and the lady pointed to the wall and said " it says it right there"
