Fairfield Inn by Marriott Myrtle Beach North

We booked a room at the Knights Inn about a month prior. We were going to attend a show at the House of Blues and booked the Knights Inn because of it's proximity. When we arrived in Myrtle Beach, we discovered that the Knights Inn was not only under construction, but, CLOSED. We had to spend about an hour on the phone with ConcertHotels; however, when it was all said and done, they found us a room at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott at no charge. In addition, they are refunding the money we spent for the Knights Inn. I could not have been more livid to find out that I had booked a room at a closed hotel; however, I could not be happier with the way it was handled. We attended the show and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn - thanks to a good deal of hustle and diligence from ConcertHotels.com. THANK YOU!

Liked: Big room, clean, breakfast was very good (eggs, sausages, toast, yogurt,...), Pool open until 11pm
Disliked: Small beds for two people, the size of the room could easily have beds 15 cm wider.The wi-fi kept disconnecting every 10 minutes.

Disliked: Room and bath were very basic. Bht clean, yes.

Disliked: Room could have been cleaner, there was hair in the sinks, and showers. Carpet had paint on it, and was a wet odor

Disliked: Booked a room with a king size bed and was given 2 queens because they overbooked. My wife was 61 year old wife was using crutches and they gave us a room FURTHEST from the elevator. There was no body wash in the shower. The hallways were blocked and was very hard for my wife to walk through. The food in the breakfast area was not refilled when emptied. The parking lot was being repaved and we were not informed about it. They did not reduce the price of our room from a king to 2 queens. We booked a king because of my wife being on crutches.
