Fairfield Inn by Marriott Deptford

Hotel was just okay. We stayed one night for a concert at the Scottish Rite Auditorium.

Liked: Room was very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: Public areas and elevator (yes, only one). The other was out of service. Common areas and elevator were dirty. Breakfast was advertised until 10:00, however at 9:50 they took away the plates and started to take the food away even though there were people in the breakfast area.

Liked: Very clean, friendly staff, location made it easy for us to do our visiting
Disliked: Building located between a highway and a very busy road so it was pretty noisy prior to midnight. The AC unit did not work in our room so it got very hot and made it difficult to sleep. This room had nothing comfortable to sit on. Breakfast wasn’t good at all, we wound up going out for breakfast.

Liked: The woman who checked us in was very friendly. Parking was good.
Disliked: The place could use a good cleaning. The tub had stains in it . We had no water pressure in the shower. I had to kneel down to wash my hair under the tub faucet . The breakfast was just ok. The eggs and sausage were cold and rubbery . tasting. The mattress was saggy. Definitely not worth the price I paid to stay there.
