Fairfield Inn by Marriott Bangor

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing bad,

Great room.

Liked: Lots of pillows; clean.
Disliked: None.

Liked: Close to concert venue.
Disliked: No hot water.

I would probably book at this hotel again but I found the staff to be a little rude and unable to deal with the increased demand of guests from the concert. I felt this way in general, however. The whole town itself did not handle the increased population from the concert. Dominos quoted us a 2 hour delay in the delivery of pizza after the concert and parking/traffic in downtown Bangor was not handled well.

Liked: The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.
Disliked: Check in time was 1pm and we were traveling 6 hrs to get there so we did not arrive until 4pm and our room was still not ready. They said they were backed up because of the concert. When we arrived at our room it was out of toilet paper and it took at least an hour for toilet paper to be delivered to our room.

Disliked: The vanity in the bathroom needed to be refinished. The bathroom had been redone very nicely, with new tile, countertop, etc, but the vanity was old, chipped, pain’t drips, etc. It was clean, just looked very old and worn especially with everything so new and nice.

Liked: Good location for visiting family, spacious bedroom/bathroom, comfy bed - liked being on the ground floor near pool area and reception.Breakfast was ok, a different selection of items ,Tea and Coffee available at reception to help yourself and the ice cold water was also good.Pool area was ok and plenty of towels.Lady on reception was friendly and helpful with what was available in the area :)
Disliked: Some guests were a little noisy as they went to their rooms / room above us we could hear them moving around a lot

Disliked: 1. The TV was very difficult to operate. 2. Getting to the room was a much longer walk than I would have liked given my handicap condition.3. The room rate was not the rate we were quoted by Booking.com. The Booking.com rate quoted was $144.00 and when we checked out of the Hotel we were charged a room rate of $169.00 excluding taxes.
