Very Extremely Disappointing!!
Liked: Location for our purpose of coming to Bremerton
Disliked: Extremely stinky unbelievable smell of the room we were given!Room 325! This was a disabled accessible room which we did not need! We booked 2 weeks ahead to get a better room but it did not happen since we arrived late! But we paid for the room in advance called reservation, why didn?t we get the room booked 2 weeks earlier!! I got dizzy as soon as I entered the room. The smell of the airs pray that was used for the room and the previous smell that was left out, even if the room was cleaned was just terribly horrible!!We did not get rested, we had to check out as soon as we can instead of staying a little bit longer to rest! Very very BAD experience!! We will never ever go back to that hotel! We chose it because we believed Marriott maintains their reputation which was the reason we were there!

Great location to nearby attractions...
Liked: This is the second time I have stayed here in the last six months. Amazing value for what the property provides. The pool is small but my kids could care less and they have a decent workout room. The rooms and propery are very clean and I liked that parking was gated.
Disliked: Extra to pay for parking but for the value for what you pay for a room, I can?t really complain.

This is a 3 star...
Liked: The staff was excellent in accommodating my needs I stayed in a Suite and highly recommend one choose this type of room as opposed to a standard room. I had friends also staying in the hotel and once they saw my room they upgraded to a Suite.
The secure underground parking is a real plus.
Disliked: The regular rooms are very small and I would NOT recommend them. The continental breakfast is just that. It is great to have something light before heading out Bremerton and Port Orchard are NOT destination locations and you will not find any 4 or 5 star properties in these locations!!?

Stay here if you have...
Liked: Everything. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Clean facilities. Excellent staff. *copied from notes while there*Coffee station had everything...including agave syrup and caramel sauce. Several teas, hot chocolate, citrus water, several creamers, etc. 2 waffle stations/makers; reg size and 1 that makes 4 minis as to not make to much and waste food. Turkey sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs with toppings, cheese omelettes, all sorts of additions for eggs. 3 diff cereals. Choc and reg milks, light n fit you hurt, oikos, chobani, so many choices. Breads and bagels. Fresh moist muffins. Fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs. Oatmeal with choice of nuts (almonds and walnuts) and rainsins, brown sugar, etc. Let us keep our car there after check out..to "check out" area.Clean rooms. Exceptional customer service. Also, they were informed of our 20th wedding anniversary and upgraded us to a king suite, comped our parking and gave us goodie bags all snacks. It was amazing. Oh, and the jetted tub fit 2 full sized adults with room left over!
Disliked: I can honestly say there was nothing I did not like. If I had to choose 1 tjing it would be you have to pay to park in the garage and there is almost no street parking unless you want to move your car every 2-4 hours.

Our stay at the Fairfield...
Liked: I thought we would have one King bed but got two double beds. It was just my husband and myself but it worked fine.
We used the microwave and refrigerator in the room. Just one time to reheat some food.
I thought your breakfast was exceptional. Lots of healthy choices like the walnuts for the oatmeal. And, the scrambled eggs tasted good. Good job.
My sister was also at the hotel and turned out to be just a couple doors down on the same floor. That was great but I think it was coincidence since we have different last names.
We were in town for a wedding and the fact that you are walking distance from the ferry was significant to me. We walked to the hotel and no one needed to come get us.
Liked the black out curtain. We were at a corner where I believe we might have looked into the room to the left of us on the corner. So, the black out curtain pulled out made us feel we weren't on display.
Disliked: This is just a suggestion. Look at the roof out of the 4th floor. The roof just looks like a construction zone just below and maybe it is under some construction. (I think we were facing toward the ferry when we looked out our window) Perhaps you do not own the building roof right below our room. If you don't own it then ignore this comment. I think that area was just one story high. Before we took the ferry from Seattle we looked up 4th street or avenue and realized we could walk there from the ferry. If you are from out of the area and don't have a car that was significant. You might mention that on your site someplace. My husband is unstable walking and so we called a taxi that you recommended to be sure he didn't fall as we walked back to the ferry and the taxi driver charged us $6 to go that 4 or 5 blocks. A bit excessive, don't you agree?
