Neat, Clean and Comfortable!

Liked: I don't often give out all high ratings for a hotel stay but this one deserves it. I liked every aspect of our stay from the friendliness of the staff, the size and cleanliness of the room as well as the layout and decor of the lobby and common areas. And the sofa bed was stain free and could be sat on without having to cover it with sheets! I liked having brunch at the tables under the gazebo and then sitting by the fire pit that night. I did not use the gym for this short trip but I liked that the treadmills were in front of a glass wall that allows guests to look outside while walking. A nice touch also was the pleasant fragrance that was always waiting when we got on the elevator. Although there were some scuffs on the wall on the 3rd floor where luggage or carts rubbed against them while passing by, I have to say that the staff are doing a marvelous job of maintaining this hotel and I would definitely stay with them again. Kudos to the cooking staff for the variety of delicious breakfast foods and beverages available and neatly displayed. And compliments and congrats to great management for a job well done!☺️
Disliked: There are 2 things that I can think of that I didn't like. Neither of which changes the ratings for me because being neat, clean, and comfortable are at the top of the list for me. With that being said, I didn't like the cold pool even with the sun shining on it all day. I wish it was heated so that we could have gotten in it but the water was really cold even after the cold shower. But I was told upon checking in that the hotel became a Fairfield Inn about 6 years ago. Maybe a heating mechanism would have needed to be installed during the initial construction. But the hotel can't control the weather. Lastly, I forgot to notify the front desk about this, but the booth we sat in for dinner one evening had a loose seat that unexpectedly rocked forward when I sat down. I was a bit nervous as it tilted forward each time I slid over to make room for my husband. But once I figured out exactly how far back to sit and kept still I made it through dinner safely with my husband at my side.☺️

Liked: The location was perfect. We were attending a concert and was able to get to the concert and back without minimal traffic.
