Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Atascadero

Clean and efficient!

Liked: This is a beautiful refurbished hotel. We did get a very good prize through booking which made it even nicer. The staff was friendly, the room was super clean and efficient, and it had easy parking. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning and took advantage of the sparkling, clean pool.
Disliked: Nothing!

Exceptional

Liked: The Hotel was completely gutted and closed for remodeling! I certainly hope you don't try to charge me for it! Thankfully, I found another hotel with a vacant room.
Disliked: It was closed!

Liked: better than average price
Disliked: no breakfast. everything smelled of musty old house. not pleasant smell at all. no coffee maker

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet rooms.

Liked: The mattress was comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful.
Disliked: The phone wasn't connected. One of the lightbulbs was out. The sheer curtains were shredded. The remote control didn't work. For an ADA room, it didn't work. You had to go down the stairs (the elevator didn't work one night).

Pleasant

Liked: Access to a separate full-size gym, but it didn't open until 8 am.
Disliked: mattresses were saggy, pool looked like a swamp, noisy neighbors.

I felt that the price was too high for the type of amenities available.

Liked: It was very clean. Really loves that. Especially with the property being older. The staff was very nice.
Disliked: Shower pressure would go high and then really low when we showered. It made it really hard especially when trying to rinse shampoo out of your hair. Also the pool was green and very unkept around it. Unpleasant when you look out your room window. Although I appreciate the lovely coffee and tea set up, it would be nice to get up and have coffee in my room as mostly all hotels I have stayed at.
