Superb

Very disappointed shoulda asked for...

Liked: Nothing stand out or special. Looks better in the pictures than in reality.
Disliked: First- the terrible sewage smell the second you walked in. There was an overwhelming smell and clearly a plumbing issue. Check in was simple. Went to the room- the smoke detector was chirping. We went to call the front desk- the phone didn’t have a cord! So my husband came back with a battery- he had to crawl on the bed and change it himself! There were no cups or glasses- the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable- but the blanket…. No words to describe other than old, gross and nasty. I can’t say the room wasn’t clean- but it smelled so strong- they were trying to cover up the sewer smell. Upon checking out- the guy made excuses and said we were lucky to even have a room! He just didn’t know how we even got a reservation. We were very disappointed and felt the information was definitely misleading.

Liked: I never stayed. The reservation was canceled. The only thing I could fine was a TOTALLY GHETTO ROOM in another motel. The room had to be cleaned BY ME. It was terrible. Thanks for nothing!

Liked: The staff and cleanliness of the rooms are fantastic. The staff goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant.
Disliked: The outside appearance has gone down since we started staying their once.a month about 8 months ago. Not appealing. The grass is about 4 feet tall and the lobby and elevator AC system hasn't worked since our last stay a month ago. I feel sorry for the staff having to work in that heat. I walked by the thermostat around 6 pm and it registered 81. If we didn't know how great the staff is and how clean the rooms are we would not stay there.

Liked: Absolutely nothing.
Disliked: AC is broke. Hallways 85 degrees. Toilet was leaking and floor covered with water. Someone bar of soap was left over in the bath tub. The room was hotter than the hallway. Turned the AC on full blast and my baby got too hot and threw up. We left to go eat and come back 4 hours later and the room was still hot. Front desk didn’t say a word about the ac being broke and seeing me with 3 kids under 4. Now I’m having to argue with booking.com for a full refund because we did not stay, we left and had to go elsewhere.

GREAT Breakfast... Comfortable Bed... Clean...

Liked: I got this hotel room for my son and his GF when they were on the way to port Aransas to visit. They were tired after driving awhile and I didn't want them to fall asleep on the road. They arrived really late and were pleasantly greeted and checked into the hotel. The location was a perfect respite after their long drive that day. And, my son and his gf told me this hotel had the ABSOLUTE BEST breakfast they have had at a hotel in awhile (and we usually stay in quite a few hotels over the course of a year). I would also like to mention my son his 6ft-8in and is a fairly tall/big guy... with that being said, he stated the bed was comfortable and pleasant. Anyways, our whole family will be staying here more often when passing through the area.

Liked: The staff is wonderful and always accommodating. We stay here once a month and I would recommend them to everyone
