Pleasant
Liked: I loved the fact that they were friendly when I came, and when I came back late in another vehicle they made sure I got to the door leading inside ok. The bed was very comfortable and I slept amazing.
Disliked: One of the windows was shattered on the outside, not sure if they knew, was going to let them know but no one seems to be in the office ever. You have to call. Vacuum around tables, and the chair if that means moving them do it. There was food on the floor when I moved the chair. Also the air conditioner had possibly mold on the vents. That needs to be wiped or cleaned with bleach. It could just be a dust buildup also. There was 2 burn holes on the blanket.

We will be back here...
Liked: The owner/operator Danish (spelling?) and his beautiful 90-year mother came out in the drizzling rain to welcome us with big smiles on their faces. Check-in was a breeze. He showed us a convenient parking spot and gladly helped bring our luggage to our secure and beautifully appointed non-smoking king room up on the second floor, where we had a good night rest following our engagement for the evening. Upon our checkout the following morning, Danish formally introduced his pleasant aging parents and graciously obliged our curiosity regarding his family and the origins of his business. Danish finally bade us farewell and directed us to a eatery down the road where we could have breakfast.We heartily recommend the modest and relatively affordable family-owned and operated Fairbridge Inn Express for visitors to Barrington, Illinois and environs.
Disliked: I wish that we could have stayed a little longer. About the property, not all rooms are like the room we occupied however, Danish assured us that he is working hard to change that. He pointed to the recent pandemic and complications in the purchase process as recent setbacks. We wish him well.
