Excellent location, clean and well...

Liked: The room was clean and the location is perfect. We enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable in the hotel.
Disliked: Our room was on the 7th floor and we had large suitcases. The old lift is closed from 8pm - 9am which meant our check out time was pushed back slightly as we couldn’t carry the bags down.

Adequate but costly

Liked: The staff were great, the lobby was very nice. Service was good. Heritage style and refurbishment were nice.
Disliked: The room was very small. Our room was internal with windows facing inwards, and too high to see out of. There was not enough light in the room; we needed more lights and also a bigger mirror. The tablet provided didn’t work well. The shower water pressure was very low, and the temperature fluctuates between burning hot and freezing cold.

Great base for a business...

Liked: Great location, really good restaurant and the bar serves a good martini.
Disliked: nothing

Good place to lay your...

Liked: Great location, well laid out rooms, comfortable beds. Check in staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Traffic noise, breakfast staff were inattentive and it took a long time to have breakfast.

Exceptional

Superb

A classy and elegant stay...

Liked: Beautiful bedroom, great options such as streaming from your phone to the tv, an iPad to quickly and easily access restaurant information, building information and reception. Staff were lovely to deal with and very prompt with requests. Restaurant was exceptional, divine food and drink options. It was my partners birthday and they had some delicious patisseries and a lovely birthday card in the room on arrival which was truly generous and thoughtful. Location was perfect, short walk to the city, all while having a quiet peaceful room. We were staying there over Anzac Day and we didn’t hear the cannon or the pipe band from our room.
Disliked: N/A - all expectations were exceeded

We had an excellent stay....

Liked: Bed was very comfortable, shower pressure was excellent. Hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. Very much a boutique hotel atmosphere.
Disliked: I didn’t like the breakfast menu options for the included breakfast. The options weren’t equal in substance or value.
