EZ 8 Motel Newark

Highly unprofessional, very poor service, unclean, overall just a bad experience. We were in the room no more than 30 minutes and were looking for our money back after we saw the cockroach but they wouldn't give us the refund because the sink was wet. Neither of us had used it, just noticed how it needed to be replaced and how grungy the toilet and bathtub were. I would highly recommend you don't stay here.

Liked: They did waive the cancellation fee.
Disliked: The room smelled disgusting, there was a cockroach scurrying about, and we did not stay the night. They claimed that we had used the toilet and sink in the less than 30 minutes we were there (which we hadn't, due to the poor conditions) and then the manager continued to tell us we were "f***ing lying" over the phone in the lobby.

In general I had a very pleasant visit at this hotel. Loved the location and the staff was very friendly. Not having a coffee pot in the room was something minor I didn't like but I would stay here again.
