Not a particularly nice hotel; nothing terrible about it, but nothing excellent, either, other than the front desk employees.

Liked: Location; front desk personnel pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: Room not as clean as it might have been; breakfast chintzy; shower wimpy.

Comfortable.

Liked: How close it is to DC and a walkable distance to restaurants and shops in Tysons Corner.
Disliked: They only cleaned the rooms once a week, according to the staff.

Unacceptable and pathetic

Liked: The room was quiet
Disliked: I had 3 really bad experiences. First, on return to the room on my second day I have found that my toilet was used by someone. It was not properly flushed and needed a brush. The second is when I called the manager about this. She raised he voice and said that I must have left it like that in the morning. She admitted that her cleaning staff could've used the room, but didn't consider it a possibility. (Personally I think the cleaning staff was working on the 3rd floor, had a bathroom emergency and did not take the effort or time to go down to the staff rooms.)Thirdly the kitchen was completely without utensils. When I phoned the front desk they did deliver some utensils, pots and a percolator. When I took the percolator from the package, it was unwashed and still had use coffee brew from a previous use. There were no teaspoons with the utensils delivered - I had to stir my coffee with the table spoon handle. This was unacceptable and pathetic - especially the way the manager handled the issue.

Liked: The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. It had comfortable bedding, a work desk, and a nice view from the window. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong throughout our stay. The location was excellent — close to public transportation and just a short walk to restaurants, grocery stores, and tourist attractions. It was a quiet neighborhood, but still very convenient for getting around.

Asqueroso y peligroso para la...

Disliked: An absolute disgrace of a hotel. I stayed at Extended Stay America and from the moment I walked in, it was a nightmare. The room was covered in hair—in the bathtub, on the bed, on the floor. Clearly, no cleaning had been done before my arrival. Cleanliness? Nonexistent. The elevator reeked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. I asked for cups and they gave me dirty plastic ones. Seriously? They can’t even handle the basics. The so-called “included breakfast” they advertise is a scam—it’s not breakfast, it’s a joke. And the service? Even worse. The older woman at the front desk in the morning—the one wearing a headscarf—was shockingly rude and unprofessional. No kindness, no patience, no courtesy. Thankfully, the Filipina woman on the cleaning staff was very kind and helpful, as was the Black male receptionist with glasses on the evening shift. The only decent people in that place. To make things worse, I got sick because of the room. There was no proper ventilation, and the air conditioning felt unhealthy. When I opened the door to let in air, a disgusting smell from the hallway would come in—like something dead. It felt like a horror movie. After several days trying to endure it, I had to run out to a nearby hotel because it was an absolute nightmare. I ended up with a sore throat from the humidity and lack of ventilation. This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Filthy, poorly managed, unhealthy, and awful customer service. I wouldn’t go back even if they paid me.
