Extended Stay America Suites - Seattle - Redmond

I had such a good experience while staying, after my bad experience of my car overheating as I got to the hotel. The front desk personnel, Bianca and Kristin were unbelievably kind and helpful. I believe that they are what truly made my stay there good; especially while waiting for a tow-truck. If I go to an event in the area again I will not hesitate to make another reservation.

Liked: Front Desk personnel.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I was centrally located to events that we needed to attend. It was clean and quiet.
Disliked: Maybe some fresh fruit for breakfast would be nice!

Quality has gone downhill.

Liked: Have stayed here before because I liked the location. It is safe and tucked away. I really like the room setup having a kitchenette.
Disliked: Here are my room for improvements:I think they need 2 staff members working at a time. I had this issue last time I stayed; no one was available to help me check in for over an hour and the staff member at that time had been out in the parking lot in a guest's car... a little strange.This time similar a bit of an elusive staff member, not sure why they don't stay at the desk they always seem to be in the back room hiding out. After checking in I came back about 30 minutes later to ask for shampoo and get the dish kit and there was an angry customer in the lobby and guests waiting to check in. The employee left for 10 minutes to go get shampoo (which they had none) if you ask me poor problem-solving skills as the guest in front of us was fuming and being told there was no manager to fix their issues.Dish kit- stock this in the room, there is literally a spot for it, why do guests have to go ask for this?!?No toiletries- how does a franchise hotel run out of mini shampoos. Breakfast- way more limited (Nutri grain bar and oatmeal that has to be made in your room, hopefully you request the dish kit a day before at the rate it takes to get help from staff) and the coffee cups and lids didn't match, wrong sizes. Out of those too?I left for 30 minutes to get food and came back to a police vehicle flashing lights and the officer in the lobby so that was a little sketchy.Unfortunately, for the price the quality is just not there and because of that I will not be staying here again when there are equivalent options in the area. 2 strikes you're out!

Disliked: It was a terrible experience for us as soon as we reached the place. We reached the property late at 2 am but we had informed the hotel about that in the afternoon. When we reached, we were told that there was only one room available. We checked in to that room one to find that it was extremely dirty like there was no housekeeping done for a month. Attaching a few pictures for reference. The beds (including bedsheet and blanket) were full of stains and hair, the washroom was unusable. The guy at the front desk offered to help clean the room and said that that was the only option for us. He took his own sweet time to start the cleaning, it was already 3:30 when he eventually started. As we tried to push him a bit to be faster, he became extremely rude and even threatened to kick us off the property. It was eventually 4:30 before we could use a semi-cleaned room. We had to wait almost 2.5 hours at 2 am to get a room after long travel, we lost sleep and had to eventually cancel our plans for next morning. We learnt next morning that they probably gave the room prepared for us to someone else. This was extremely unprofessional, and almost traumatizing for us.

Liked: Everything was up to snuff except....
Disliked: Couldn't work the stove. Checked for a stove timer, couldn't find one. We were in #251 on the end on the second floor. You advertise a kitchen but when the stove doesn't work, it's not really a kitchen.

Liked: Breakfast was a joke. Kitchen accessories were lacking and had to be requested.
Disliked: Breakfast. Kitchen accessories. Bathroom towel sets had to be exchanged daily.

Disappointing

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: The idea of renting a long stay is because we are traveling with a baby and i like to cook by myself for the baby. The hotel was advertising they had available the entire cook set but when my husband asked for it, they only give us plates and silverware and they make an story for no provided us with utensils to cook. It was really expensive for what we get. Very disappointed and not worthy
