Liked: This place was scary. The first thing you notice on the door is that it’s says if you have any thing valuable hide it. The place felt so unsafe. They allow pets which is fine but I could hear these massive aggressive dogs barking, which is really scary when traveling with a 1 year old. I felt like I was going to get robbed or held up the entire time I was there. It is close to the airport which is nice but I would not recommend this place to anyone especially anyone traveling with children.

Nice and convenient.

Liked: Location is good. Close to the freeway, Isla Vista and Santa Barbara, depending on which way you go. Staff was friendly and made check in and out easy. Liked that the room had a full size fridge and microwave. Also liked that it had a 2 burner stove in case I wanted to heat something up.
Disliked: I understand there were eating utensils available but having to get them from the front desk was a little inconvenient. I got forks, spoons and knives but didn't think about plates. After I realized it in my room I didn't want to go back down to get them. But I understand. Don't want them taken home by guests. I also wish fruit was offered with the breakfast items.
