Worst Hotel Experience I’ve Ever...

Disliked: My family and I stayed at Extended Stay America Suites from Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, 2025. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I want to be very clear why:Unprofessional Conduct at Check-In: When I arrived to check in around 5:00 PM, I witnessed a long-term guest hand the desk clerk cash, which she pocketed. This behavior immediately raised red flags about integrity and professionalism at this location.Misrepresentation Online vs. Reality: The pictures online show a full stove and oven, but our room had only a two-burner stovetop — with one burner completely inoperable. The website also claims “Dining and cooking utensils provided,” yet nothing was in the room. We had to go to the front desk, request them, and carry them back ourselves. When I asked for the complete set, I was handed only two bowls, plates, cups, and pieces of silverware — despite booking a room for five people. I even had to ask separately for a toaster. The excuse given was that “people steal these items,” so they don’t actually provide them in the rooms anymore.Nonexistent Basic Amenities: We were repeatedly told the hotel’s single luggage cart was “lost.” As a result, my daughter and I had to make multiple trips carrying heavy items and wrangling three children up to the second floor — at both check-in and check-out.Unsafe and Unsanitary Conditions:• The working stove burner was covered in a thick, flaking layer of debris with visible rust underneath — a clear fire hazard.• When we pulled out the hide-a-bed for the children, the mattress was stained with blood. There were no linens provided, and repeated calls to the front desk went unanswered. My grandchildren ended up sleeping on the floor.• The next morning, our toilet stopped working. Instead of sending maintenance, I was told to come to the desk and pick up a plunger myself.Indifference and Lack of Service: When I reported the blood-stained mattress, the desk clerk’s only res

Cheap hotel in a good...

Liked: Location was fantastic. Very walkable to groceries and public transportation.
Disliked: Room was very loud. Door was broken and didn’t close properly. We asked to be moved and they were unable to accommodate without moving to a smaller room without enough beds for our family. Booking said there was breakfast but it was only coffee and snack bars.

Disliked: Tweeters running around look rooms nasty carpet all wet no blankets on the hide away bed told us they Wer out of pillows for my kids they call granola bars and oatmeal a breakfast I call that a joke won’t ever stay at an extended stay again and room had bad odor

Liked: Price was on point was able to fit family of 5 in one room.
Disliked: Security lock on door missing screws, blow dryer didn’t work. Stains on floor curtains ironing board lock on window broken, had to have staff help with shower, police on sight when arrived wish they had a pool
