Extended Stay America Suites - Oakland - Alameda Airport

Good

Quiet and close to Oakland...

Liked: The property is 5 minutes from Oakland Airport but not under the flight path. The rooms were large with a small kitchen, no coffee pot as they serve breakfast. I had an early flight so I checked out before it started.
Disliked: My only complaint would be the bed was firmer than I like and the pillows were flat but I always travel with my own so it was fine!

Its misleading

Liked: There was no shower or floor towels in room. Was placed at the end of the hall with kids who kept banging on our door randomly and running away which set my dog off barking several times. As highly disappointed when to go breakfast was broken or smashed grainfruit bars and water down coffee oh and no cups for the hot beverage coco powder was everywhere on the counters honestly ESAS need to take down”Breakfast Included “ off the site because if that is what they think a breakfast or even to go breakfast is they are falsely advertising and it’s misleading!I will say the staff are great accommodating as much as the could which was appreciated. However the money front desk employee didn’t want to check me out when I was asking her to so I could get the final receipt bill

Liked: The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Just the location was not near any stores or anything, kinda sucky for people with no car. But overall a great stay.

I enjooyed being a guest...

Liked: I was delighted with the convenience and quality of the accommodations at Extended Stay America Suites. The staff there were courteous, helpful, and highly professional in every respect.

ver disappointing.

Disliked: Location was fine, but everything else was below expectations. The pull out sofa in room 120 was old tattered, and very uncomfortable. i could feel all the coils pressing against my back the entire night, making sleep almost impossible. the breakfast offerings were stale and inadequate. to top it all off, i found the staff to be rude and unhelpful. whenever i asjed a question, i was made to feel that i was being a bother.Overall i am very regretful that i chose to stay there this time around.

Liked: Right next to the airport! Super cheap!
Disliked: Room was not clean at all. Toilet was broken, mattress had blood stains and other unknown stains… Miscellaneous stains & gross stuff all over the room.
