Extended Stay America Suites - Mt. Olive - Budd Lake

Excellent value, and pleasant

Liked: Excellent value. Spacious room. Good amenities. Quiet and safe.
Disliked: It was clean, but a couple of small spots were missed.

A decent affordable option

Liked: The location was good for where I needed to go.. I have stayed at extended America in other cities and the size of the rooms and bathrooms are good. The kitchenette is a plus.
Disliked: The room smelled horribly! A mix of humidity and human waste. We talked to the receptionist about a room change, but there was nothing available. So he said he would bring air fresher, but never showed up.

Liked: I liked the location which was very convenient as to where we had to be.
Disliked: The rooms are a bit out-dated. It's a nice layout but needs renovations. The beds are small and this particular room #208 had bed bugs. We complained to the front desk and they did not help. We didn't sleep at all and sat in a chair all night away from the carpet and bed. We had to put all our belongings in the bathtub for safety but the next morning we checked out which a nice lady spoke to the manager and agreed to refund us the 2 nights that we were supposed to stay. Also I was up all night calling Booking.com in which 3x they seemed they will help but always disconnected my call after putting me on hold for half hour. At one point they transferred me to another company??????? That was weird. My husband even called the main company of Extended Stay and they did nothing for us. Apparently some put on my file saying that we broke house rules and brought a pet!!?? We didn't have no pets as we are from another country that came off a cruise. How can we have a pet?? Plus, this hotel allows pets because we notice that there are people living in this hotel and they have dogs. The whole customer service was terrible and most likely never booking with them again. And Booking.com has to do better!!!

Very friendly staff! Great location!...

Liked: Staff was very friendly and helpful, very nice! Got a coffee pot for the room, Regular Sized fridge was awesome. 2 min walk from skyzone. And was under 15 min drive everywhere we had to go, great location.
Disliked: When first started tub, water looked discolored. But was fine rest of the stay. Maybe pipes hadn't ran in that room in a while?

Passable

Liked: It’s ok, it is a grab and go.
Disliked: The room was not cleaned during our 2 night stay.

Liked: I literally helped a friend of mine whom become homeless

Liked: The place was very dated, broken down, smelly and I would never book a room there again!

Disliked: The room had a strong urine scent. An I'm not talking a little. Horrendous. I was afraid not to wear shoes. I drove for hours from a funeral. I was told this was the last room.
