Extended Stay America Suites - Memphis - Airport

The hotel was not the best in the world. It had a smell in the hotel. It was ok for just one night, but i wouldn't want to stay twice.

Liked: inexpensive
Disliked: Not clean

Bad

Liked: Worst experience I ever had in a hotel in my life they had no smoking signs people smoking all in the hallway in the room it was ridiculous I booked a double bed when I got there that only had a single bed
Disliked: The bed was too small people were smoking in the room in the hallways it was just awful

Exceptional

Liked: The room size I had a deluxe king room it was like a one bedroom apartment
Disliked: The price it was expensive.

Not worth it

Liked: The property was in a nice location that was about it. Now the assistant manager was amazing and went above and beyond for us I’m just sad she has to work in such a run down hotel.
Disliked: We had issues with the tv, the rooms are super run down, our toilet was messed up all night long. The whole property is just in horrible state. They claim to have a grab and go breakfast but the only thing they had was cold oatmeal and decaf coffee. That’s not a grab and go breakfast. I normally don’t rate hotels but this one was super bad.

Liked: From the moment you enter this hotel you will feel the friendliness of the staff, they are very friendly and try to do everything they can for you. I felt understaffed because the room was not cleaned during the two weeks I stayed there. I had to clean the floors myself, sweep the room, there were not enough towels, there were not enough sheets. I don’t know what the reason was, I would ask the owner of the hotel to buy more towels and sheets because the staff tries to find it all but they can’t, their washing machines never turn off, I went to their laundry room a couple of times, all the shelves were empty. They really wanted to help but they couldn’t, but if you compare the price and quality, then thanks to the staff of this motel I did not feel uncomfortable, I felt very calm, I felt safe.

I would not recommend this...

Liked: Not much. There weren’t a lot of amenities and it was outdated.
Disliked: There are people who actually live in the hotel. Residents that pay rent. I even had an encounter with a resident because she insisted on providing unsolicited advice. Also the locks on the room door weren’t secure. This place also allowed pets and it actually smelled like pets.
