Liked: The price, it was cheaper than any other; now I know why
Disliked: I in no way can recommend this hotel, at all. This place is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, in my life! If a negative rating was possible, I’d be rating it as negative.As other users have mentioned, the non-smoking signs are a joke. The entire place reeked of smoke. Badly. The hallways in particular smelled like a smoky bar at 2:00 in the morning.The actual room wasn’t really dirty, just very run-down, old, cramped and not very comfortable. There were two queen sized beds crammed in, where only one belonged. Both were on metal frames, clearly visible.The A/C unit keep shutting off, and flashed a ‘Check Filter’ warning. It was clear the filter was overdue for a cleaning, as the A/C unit spewed out these black floaties that speckled the bed. They looked like soot, but were oily; as we cleaned off the bed, more would appear. The A/C unit clearly needed a good cleaning.There were cigarette burns in the bathroom sink – where people had set their cigarettes down, smoking with the fan on? The counter laminate was pulled away from the wall; The bathroom door dragged against the floor, so you could not open/close it. ( making scratch marks on the floor)Also, as other reviewers had mentioned – we too should have simply turned around and left; But all the major chains were roughly $200, this was $110. Now I know why.

Liked: the staff was very friendly. even though this is a non-smoking hotel, people definitely smoke inside. our room smelled very much like someone had been smoking in there. we went to the front desk and she moved our room right away. she was apologetic and very kind about it. our stay in the room was confortable. slightly outdated but I expected that based on other reviews. the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The water was hot and pressure was great. I have no complaints about the room itself or the hotel (other than the smoke.)
Disliked: the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke. as a non smoker, I am very sensitive to that smell. it gave me a slight headache to walk through the lobby, but once I got through it, I was good. I was not able to smell it in my room.

Liked: The hotel was a great price and a very nice location.
Disliked: We did not like the spiral staircase we had to use to access our 3rd floor rm. it was difficult to carry luggage on. The staff did offer to carry our luggage. We would not stay at this location again because of this narrow spiral staircase.

Is ok for one night...

Liked: Hotel has big potential, is kind old fashion design "hotel room with kitchen annex and private restroom. But all facilities were old one. Hotel breakfast is just muffin and coffee.
Disliked: Whole hotel was marked as nonsmoking, but corridors were smelly and coldly. Rooms are not silent one, you hear snoring of your neighborhood or party in next room. Air con is so old and noisy.
