The Spotlight on Extended Stay America Suites - Indianapolis - Castleton

Affordable Comfort Near Indy’s Music Scene

Modern yet no-frills, Extended Stay America Suites - Indianapolis - Castleton offers practical convenience in a quiet area of Fishers, just northeast of downtown Indianapolis. With fully equipped kitchens, free WiFi, and air-conditioned rooms, it’s a solid base for music fans looking to stay close to the action without the downtown price tag.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is about 20–30 minutes from major Indianapolis venues like Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indiana State Fairgrounds—making it a great option if you’re driving or ride-sharing to a show. It’s far enough from the city center to avoid late-night noise, and with 24-hour front desk service, you won’t have to worry about rolling in late. The check-in time is 3:00 PM, but the friendly staff are known to offer helpful tips if you're arriving early.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends who want a shared space with a kitchen
- Solo travelers catching a one-night-only gig
- Couples looking for a low-key weekend escape
- Fans needing a quiet place to crash after the encore
- Budget-conscious music lovers who don’t need all the bells and whistles

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site bar or restaurant, each room has a full kitchen with a fridge, stovetop, and microwave—perfect for late-night snacks or pre-show meals. There are also several casual dining spots and takeout options within a short drive. Complimentary grab-and-go breakfast is available, ideal for those recovering from a late night.

Nightlife Options

The hotel itself is quiet and low-key, but bars and lounges in the Castleton and Fishers area are just minutes away by car. You’ll find everything from craft breweries to sports bars nearby, making it easy to keep the night going after the show.

What People Say

Guests appreciate the clean, spacious rooms and the convenience of having a kitchen. The free WiFi and cable TV are a plus for downtime, and the location gets high marks for being peaceful yet accessible. Reviewers often mention the friendly front desk staff and easy parking.

Areas for Improvement

This isn’t a luxury stay—some guests note that the decor is dated and the amenities are basic. Don’t expect daily housekeeping unless requested, and there's no fitness center or pool. Still, for the price and location, most consider it a great value.

The Bottom Line

Extended Stay America Suites - Indianapolis - Castleton is a practical, budget-friendly choice for concert-goers who want convenience, comfort, and a quiet place to recharge after the show.

I think I have already...

Liked: Absolutely nothing went to check in last night and they told me my room had been canceled and I was not even notified until I went to the front desk to check in. Extremely disappointed on in the experience.
Disliked: I had no idea I was turned down and I better not be getting charged for that night because they would not give me a room

Completely disappointed.

Disliked: I booked this hotel a while back for one night, when we got there and went to our room we immediately knew from the smell it would be terrible. The ENTIRE room was dirty. The bath tub. BOTH beds. The counters. The sink. ALL OF IT was disgusting. I went down and asked for a different room or for ours to be re cleaned. The staff member explained understanding (thankfully) and gave us the option of the one other room available. Same exact thing in the other room. This one had trash in the floor and in the closet from the previous people that were in it. We attended a concert, so we got back late our key card to open the door to get into the building was broken so we couldn’t get back in. Walked all around the hotel and found a side door that was cracked open. Got in that way and we checked at at 6:30 in the morning. Absolutely the worst stay in our lives. Completely disappointed for $210 for a single I night. I’ve attached pictures and I have SO many more of how BOTH rooms were just simply nasty.

Disappointing

Liked: Mattress was great. A/C was great. Staff was great.
Disliked: Barking/whining dog. Elephant stomping above me. Screaming kids in hall. No ice machine in building. Not one kitchen utensil or plate or even a paper towel. Uncarpeted floor was freshly mopped, but was extremely slippery the three days I was there. Had to be very careful walking. Entrance door on east end of building was either propped open, broken, or chronically unlocked. Not safe since I was on the first floor. Sheets were clean, I guess, but had stains on them. Asked for an extra blanket but was told their dryer wasn't working so clean blankets weren't available. TV remote didn't work with tv, but desk person was able to get it to work. Signal cut out a few times and the room phone was dead. I was in town because my mom broke her hip and died. Would have liked better accommodations but everything in town was booked.

Unhappy guest with nowhere to...

Liked: Location
Disliked: **I was here because I was one of the thousands of people without power since Wednesday. Here out of sheer desperation to save my food and get out of the heat**Unclean-telephone and mirrors were filthy; bathroom mirror and photos are covered in soap and toothpaste scum. I went home to get my own cleaning supplies to clean. The kitchen floor was sticky, only 2 luggage carts for the entire hotel, air conditioner made noise all night, and the screen was missing from ths right side window. The kitchen trash can was covered in some sort of dried liquid scum. Recommend having a refresher course with housekeeping.
