Extended Stay America Suites - Boston - Peabody

Disappointing

Liked: Staff was pleasant.
Disliked: The facility is clearly understaffed.Elevator broken. Beds uncomfortable. AC worked in the main room of the suite, but did not cool the bedroom. Room was clean, but hallway and stairwell smelled of mildew and other odors. Hard to make a “Grab & Go” breakfast poor, but this one was just that.Hard to imagine we paid as much as we did. I understand pricing in the greater Boston area, but I’ll still consider other options before returning to this hotel.

We won’t be back.

Liked: The room was big.
Disliked: I have stayed at much nicer hotels for significantly less money. The room was like stepping back into the 70’s. It is in dire need of an upgrade. There was never anyone at the front desk, you always had to holler for someone. It had a kitchen but you had to go get any items to use in the kitchen at the front hdesk - and there was never anyone at the front desk. We had to request bedding for the pull out couch as well. The tub was cracked. The carpet was old and musty smelling - our teenagers wore their shoes so they didn’t walk on it barefoot. The person who checked us in said we had two queen beds and we had two full size beds, which was what the reservation was for. Breakfast was included and turned out it was a light breakfast which was a small packaged muffin or some oatmeal. Not what we usually get when breakfast is included. The elevator smelled like weed and cigarettes most of the time even though there are no smoking signs everywhere.

We love it here!

Liked: This is my husband and I third time staying with American Suites Boston- Peabody and we always love it here.Will surely coming back whenever we will travelling to Gloucester and Boston
