Extended Stay America Suites - Baltimore - Timonium

Good, but…

Liked: Room was good.
Disliked: 1. Grab and Go breakfast left a lot to be desired. A bare minimum selection. 2. Staff interrupted our stay - late Saturday morning as we were relaxing for a few hours before going to our function to clean the A/C unit. We said we would be out in about 2 hours but staff said that wasn’t good enough; it had to be “be done NOW!” We took our coffee and sat in the lobby - it was quick but an inconvenience. This should be done when rooms are empty- definitely not on a weekend if you are a fairly successful operation.

Respectful and responsible staff

Liked: I picked this place for the price and because it was in Timonium. The motel outside surroundings are well kept. Plenty of parking for visitors. Staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast is grab and go (fruit bars, muffins, tea, and coffee. Non smoking rooms! I liked that! Room 237 was super quiet, comfortable, clean, and spacious. Clean bathroom and kitchenette. Not fancy and new, but funcional and perfect for the night. No bad smells. Internet worked well. TV worked well. Shower pressure was good with hot water. AC worked well and kept room cool on a very hot day. I normally don't stay in motels, but I must say this place was better than what I expected. The staff was very responsive and polite. Keep up the good service!
Disliked: Dirty rugs in halls. I suggest they vacuum and keep rugs in common halls clean. It is important too. This is a pet friendly place. There was white fur on the furniture. It was obvious that it had been cleaned, but this place is animal friendly and people do extended stays with animals. Whoever was in this room before me must've had a very fury friend that shed loads of hair. So, though housekeepers, evidently, did clean, there was still hair left behind. If you are allergic to fur, like me, keep this in mind when booking reservation. I spent the night coughing and wheezing.

Superb

Liked: Nothing. That’s not even close to a breakfast. Just a few stale muffins and terrible coffee. What a joke.
Disliked: I can’t even begin to describe what I didn’t like. Overall it is a dirty grungy ugly smelly mess. I felt like I needed a shower after my shower bc it’s just filthy and the furnishings were so beat up and the kitchen was just disgusting. The side of the fridge hasn’t been cleaned in years. I couldn’t wait to get out of there.
