Liked: We asked for a 12 pm checkout and were refused on a Sunday in Bakersfield, CA. and the reason this completely unconcerned man with a heavy Indian accent gave us; was that the hotel was completely full. This hotel's parking lot in Bakersfield has probably NEVER been full but for us it was sold out. Thanks schmucks!

Filthy exhausting stay

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The floors/carpet are filthy. Walls are chewed by dogs. Management doesn’t do anything about extremely loud guests after hours.

Spend a little more elsewhere.

Liked: Breakfast is a joke. Room are worn out.
Disliked: Place is a bit rough. Ie. In order to open my room door you had to pull up on the lever.

Liked: Freeway close without being too noisy. The bed linens were nice.
Disliked: The mattress was the worst thing about our stay. We kept rolling into the middle. Slept awful. The bathroom needed renovating. The bathtub area was all chipped and ugly. The shower head was not a pleasant experience. The room overall felt dingy and neglected. The “breakfast” was not a breakfast. It was a continental b’fast, which is fine if that’s how it was advertised. There was no ice!!!! No ice? How do you have a hotel with no ice for your patrons? I couldn’t even make a drink. I will not be returning. It was not a good price for what I received.
