This place is only a place to lay your head, which is typically what I look for when I travel to an out of town location for a concert. Staff was below average. Rooms were dated. No shampoo, just soap. Beds were not comfortable. Only a place to lay your head for a few hours if you don't mind the 10 minute ride into downtown Asheville.

Liked: Staff let me check in early.
Disliked: Dated and not very clean.

Liked: Being able to cook is a plus.Spacious and bright.AC not noisy at allStaff super welcoming and friendly.Be aware breakfast is items to go (coffee, muffins, energy bars)
Disliked: The sheets on one of the bed were dirty or not washed properly (paw print).

Impeccably Clean & Staff was...

Liked: The staff was incredibly helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to make sure that we knew all the amenities that were offered and we observed them helping other clients above and beyond, as well. The facilities were impeccably clean. We were very impressed with how tidy our room and the common areas were. All of the areas we saw looked brand new.
Disliked: The hotel is tucked up a hill off of the main road and it was a little hard to see where it was located. There is an empty restaurant that has gone out of business that is all boarded up right next to the hotel. That is not the fault of the hotel at all, but it was a bit concerning with the large open parking lot and the fact that it was tucked up away from the main road.

Liked: We had a room that was plenty large enough and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The room was not very clean when we first checked in. (bed crumpled, refrigerator dirty, surfaces were sticky, bathroom mirror was splattered and the tub might have been rinsed), but it would not drain properly. While showering the water accumulated over 4 inches and took over a hour to drain.It was our fault for not investigating fully how an extended hotel's housekeeping worked. It was not mentioned at all at check in and when we asked for clean linens, at times they were not availale because they were laundered at night and none ready at the time. Your survey and booking information options for reason for traveling needs to include "Medical".We are here because my great grandson has Leukemia and developed a very life threatening infection requiring months of in patient care. It certainly is not work or leisure.
