Extended Stay America Suites - Akron - Copley - East

The hotel was very clean and updated. But they advertise breakfast, and the only thing they had was coffee and packets of oatmeal.

Liked: Very clean.
Disliked: No breakfast.

We stayed at Studio Plus in the same area last years and were not impressed, so staying at Extended America, we weren't expecting much. We were pleased when we walked in. The rooms were updated, clean, just what we needed for a one night stay. The staff at front desk was very friendly and courteous.

Liked: Clean, updated rooms.
Disliked: Beds weren't comfortable.

Liked: the cost, desk person was very nice, was very quiet at night
Disliked: The breakfast was barely any coffee and a granola bar. All items asked for were not available, toaster, cups, ect. We went hiking all day and came back to our door being open when we know we left it was locked. A bit of an uneasy feeling staying here. Smelled like marijuana the whole time. Found a cigarette butt under bed in a non smoking room.

Liked: Value, comfort.
Disliked: Breakfast. No fruit, no pastries, just coffee and hot water for tea or cocoa. The Coffemate wasthicker than it should be. Not fresh.

Will be Back on Next...

Liked: Clean, great room, liked that there was no daily/weekly housekeeping (was not needed). Great price, reasonably quiet. Close restaurants.
Disliked: Coffee should still be available during day — or at least until noon.

Rundown Hotel

Liked: The lady at the reception was pleasant and helpful but that's about it.
Disliked: The hotel was very run down, and smelt very bad. My room smelt awful and because of this I asked if they had air freshener to mask the smell. I couldn't sleep because it smelt and it fellt very dirty.
