Extended Stay America Suites - Akron - Copley - East

The hotel was very clean and updated. But they advertise breakfast, and the only thing they had was coffee and packets of oatmeal.

Liked: Very clean.
Disliked: No breakfast.

We stayed at Studio Plus in the same area last years and were not impressed, so staying at Extended America, we weren't expecting much. We were pleased when we walked in. The rooms were updated, clean, just what we needed for a one night stay. The staff at front desk was very friendly and courteous.

Liked: Clean, updated rooms.
Disliked: Beds weren't comfortable.

Rundown Hotel

Liked: The lady at the reception was pleasant and helpful but that's about it.
Disliked: The hotel was very run down, and smelt very bad. My room smelt awful and because of this I asked if they had air freshener to mask the smell. I couldn't sleep because it smelt and it fellt very dirty.

Liked: I love the fact that the whole room had accessibility to cooking if needed a big refrigerator it was really nice and like a little table we could eat at I'll be back for sure
Disliked: Kind of didn't like everybody hanging out up front okay we're kind of intimidating they stared at you the whole time

Not what I expected.

Liked: Where it was located.
Disliked: When I arrived I waited about 10 - 15 minutes before anyone came to the front desk and there wasn't a bell to ring. At 12 midnight the fire alarm in the hallway went off for about 10 minutes probably from all the weed that was being smoked. it smelled bad in hallways. Tried calling front desk but never answered. People were arguing and a child screaming in the hall at 2 am. There were no light bulbs in the overhead light in the kitchen. Not the best experience as it was just my son and I and we were a little scared that first night. Definitely disappointed.
