Affordable Comfort Near Denver’s Music Scene

Modern and no-frills, Extended Stay America Select Suites - Denver - Tech Center South - Greenwood Village is a budget-friendly option located in the Centennial area, just a short drive from downtown Denver. Designed for longer stays, this 2-star hotel offers spacious, air-conditioned rooms—some with kitchenettes—and convenient access to the city’s biggest concert venues.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel strikes a sweet spot for fans who want to be near the action without being in the thick of the city’s bustle. It’s less than 14 miles from the Pepsi Center and Colorado Convention Center, making it a solid base for catching a show and then retreating to a quieter suburb afterwards. With free WiFi, a flexible 3:00 PM check-in, and family-size rooms available, it’s especially convenient for groups traveling together. Parking is easy, and the area has access to late-night ride shares and public transport.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends looking to split a room and save
Solo travelers chasing their favorite bands
Couples planning a laid-back concert weekend
Fans who prefer peaceful post-show downtime
Budget-conscious music lovers who’d rather spend on tickets than lodging

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, select rooms come equipped with kitchenettes including microwaves, fridges, and dishwashers—perfect for late-night bites. There are also barbecue facilities on-site if you’re up for grilling before a show, and plenty of walkable dining options nearby. Breakfast isn’t offered, but nearby cafés and diners open early for that post-concert recovery meal.

Nightlife Options

This isn’t a party hotel, but that’s part of its appeal. You’re close enough to explore Denver’s nightlife—bars, lounges, and live music joints are a short ride away—while still enjoying a quiet place to crash. Ideal for fans who want to rest up after a high-energy night.

What People Say

Guests appreciate the spacious rooms, affordable rates, and convenient location for accessing Denver’s entertainment scene. Many mention the ease of parking and the comfort of having a kitchenette. Staff are noted as friendly and helpful.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that the hotel could benefit from a few updates, particularly in common areas. Housekeeping is weekly rather than daily, which is standard for extended stays but might surprise short-term guests. And while it’s not luxury, it delivers solid value for the price.

The Bottom Line

If you’re heading to Denver for a concert and want a clean, quiet, and budget-friendly base with easy venue access, this hotel checks all the right boxes.

Bad

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Within the first 10 minutes there I was greeted by roaches.I went back to the desk and spoke with Chris.Who told me he had never seen any roaches there before and proceeded to upgrade me to another room that was infested with roaches also dead ones and live ones. Then, to make matters worse, I paid a $180 for this mess and Chris proceeded to call his manager Joe on the phone, who had no solution to anything, so I just ended up having to wait 3 to 5 days to get my $200 back for a bug infested room and then A. Bug infested upgrade. It was the worst experience I've ever had in my life and I suggest that if you don't want a roommate with roaches that you should not stay at this place. And I also suggest that if you talk to Chris. Who is the front desk manager? He is a liar. He is going to stand right in your face and lie to you. And you're gonna get the results that you see when you get in. There, so unless you got an extra $200 just to spare for this piece of s*** hole in the wall. Then go ahead. But my suggestion is to pass and sleep in your car before you go sleep in this place. Als.OI took pictures, but it won't let me post the pictures of the roaches. And the blood stains under the sink and the dead piles of roaches under the kitchen sink so I don't get the pleasure of showing you the pictures.

Legit Roach Motel

Liked: Location was good. Pretty centrally located near restaurants and retail stores.
Disliked: From the moment you walk into the hotel, you are welcomed by a strong smell of urine. Entered my room, again greeted by urine smell, urine stains on the walls, and floors. It's noticeable no attempt to clean the urine was made as it was still sticky from the last guest allowing their dog to pee on the wall. Vinyl couch was all torn up, nasty rags under the bed, moved the couch to watch TV and there was rotten food and french fries under the couch. Room was gross, bathroom towels had stains on them, fitted sheet on the bed also had stains. Everything was completely outdated and smelled like a roach motel, didn't see any roaches but wouldn't have been surprised if I had. If you can afford it, stay somewhere else.

Very poor

Liked: The day I checked out
Disliked: The staff must have not cleaned the room right because we found used tampons with blood inside the bathroom and used heroin needles

Disappointing , repulsive, traumatic ,...

Liked: It was better than sleeping in the car but not by much.
Disliked: It was filthy , it smelt like cigarettes and other people’s anuses. There was blood on the walls/doors / near showers. I felt dirtier after I should in the shower. A bug literally climbed up my daughter’s leg in the shower . There was duct tape holding the refrigerator and drawers in the restrooms together. There was literal DOG hair in our bed (not our dog either, gross ). The couch bed had Crumbs and used bandaids in it. Unknown powdery substances on and around the fridge . The microwave smelt like electrical parts burning . The ac barely worked . The window didn’t open for crap, so we couldn’t even air out the horrid smoke smells , unfortunately we had our kids with us. They left us 2 USED towels in our room and said we couldn’t get new ones unless we physically grabbed them and took them to them or paid for more . There were used personal hygiene items from last people there . Floors were sticky everywhere.
