Extended Stay America Select Suites - Denver - Cherry Creek

Upon arrival, the front desk person was slow and not very helpful. She took our money and slid a paper of information across the counter with little explanation. The room was a good size - I especially liked the closet (though, something small like matching hangers would bump up the quality), and it was decently clean (the shower needed a good scrub). Our window looked out to the trash cans which were seriously overflowing everywhere. I even saw some sort of wild animal tracks leading in and out of it the next morning so that's exciting. We found out from a sign in the kitchenette that we would have to contact the front desk for any sort of basic kitchenwares. We decided it wasn't worth the extra effort. I liked the bed and had three really good nights' sleep. As an Extended Stay, this hotel is obviously meant for long-term use and I can see it being good for that. There was a Target right behind the hotel and that worked well for us, but there weren't a ton of restaurants within walking distance. I think having a car would have improved our stay, but we were relying on taxi services and ended up paying a lot - it was about a 15 minute drive downtown each time and the airport shuttle didn't go out to Glendale.

Liked: A lot of space; inexpensive.
Disliked: Limited hotel and surrounding services; unkept grounds; dingy shower.

Adequate room. Small but nice with kitchenette though we didn't need it for our one night stay. close to lots of restaurants and a Target. good location though a tad difficult to find.
