it is a good place...
Liked: they have appliances for cooking
Disliked: pipelines are kind of stuck , that may cause flooding

Liked: some of the staff was friendly
Disliked: The rooms were completely outdated, my room had a terrible wet dog smell so I had to change rooms. Checkin process took far too long. The hotel is old and a "motel" not a "hotel". I did not feel safe in my ground floor room. The price is too high for a low quality stay.

Liked: The staff was friendly to my dog and there is a nice trail to walk on right behind the hotel.
Disliked: The space was very loud, the housekeeper's cart was so loud it woke me up (it was rolling by my window starting at 2AM). When I called the front desk at 3:30AM she was very apologetic and the noise stopped. The shower in my room did not work. It was clearly a problem that they were aware of (the lever to turn from tub to shower was broken), yet they rented me the room anyway - when I discovered the problem and called them, they came up and looked at it and offered another room. By that time it was too late to shower. The price online was increased by fees and taxes from $258 to $313 when I checked in. $50 of it was the pet charge, the rest is still unknown. Three main reasons for deciding on a place to stay are: a reasonable price, a good night's sleep and a hot shower in the morning. At the Extended Stay America (SLC - Sugarhouse) I did not receive any of the above.
