Disappointing

Clean and comfortable room

Liked: Room: Clean, hot water, nice kitchen space... just as the photos show. You can get complimetary elements for the kitchen if you need.Location: Well located, lots of commerce around.
Disliked: Room: Tv wasn't working properly, it had a purple tone that made it hard to watch.Halls, stairs and public space a bit run down.Breakfast: It's not a proper breakfast, just a grab and go space with some snacks and coffee.

Liked: Kitchenette is a great plus! Sadly we stayed only two days and couldn't use it. Everything is clean. Hot water and air conditioner work properly. Thanks for fixing the elevator immediately. Thanks for the different cushion pillows. I love the recliner! Plenty of free parking is an A+. I recommend it. Great location.
Disliked: The mattress is a little too hard for me. No safe box. The tv image colors are faded and most of the images are green. Time for a new tv. The entrance door to the room is too noisy. When guests from other rooms arrive late at night the sound gets you up from your sleeping time. Some renovations will appreciate.

I didn't like the room...

Disliked: The fact that I was charged $204 instead of the $165 quote I received from Booking.com

Liked: Close to cruise port terminal
Disliked: If you want to book this hotel because they list "free breakfast" DON'T DO IT. It's literally only coffee and snack foods. We ended up walking across the street to grab something that'd actually satiate us. Upon walking into the hotel to check in and up to our room, it smelt strongly of a flithy rabbit cage (aka marijuana). I know that's a wild thing to say but I'm not joking. Thankfully our room didn't smell like that but it did have a faint smoke odor. Bed sheets were scratchy and stiff, mattress was also stiff.If we book another cruise that leaves from Ft. Lauderdale, we will NOT return to this hotel.
