Hotel Description
The Exmoor White Horse Inn is set in Exford in the heart of Exmoor National Park on the banks of the River Exe. This award winning 16th-century inn offers freshly prepared locally sourced meals in the on-site restaurant. All rooms are individually furnished and feature private private bathrooms TVs and tea/coffee facilities. The evening meal menu includes trout game birds and rare breed beef along with an extensive bar menu served daily. A traditional Sunday carvery menu is also available. The traditional bar offers an array of over 200 Malt Whiskeys and features a traditional wood-burner for winter days. The area is popular for hiking and cycling with the Exmoor Heritage Coast 20 minutes away by car while the beaches of Woolacombe Croyde and Saunton are within an hour's drive. The villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are less than 30 minutes' drive.

great stay really enjoyed it

Liked: location was excellent and easy to reach ,hotel had all the facilities needed
Disliked: my only comment here would be the appearance of the hotel was a little dated and some creative make over would have a big effect on the ambiance

Fabulous

Liked: From the moment we arrived all staff were very friendly & helpful, we had a good size room with plenty of space & the location was great for what we wanted to see & do in the area. We ate in the restaurant the first night & the bar on our 2nd night & throughly enjoy both.

A pleasant base from which...

Liked: The hotel benefits from its unique position in an idyllic moorland village, where the sound of running streams and busy horses are never far away.
Disliked: The bed was fitted with a mattress topper which was lumpy
