Executive Suites Hotel & Conference Center Metro Vancouver

Had a short but enjoyable stay. Loved the room.

Liked: Great room.
Disliked: Slow service for breakfast.

It was a nice enough place. I would have preferred a water source in the lobby and friendlier front desk staff.

Liked: Proximity to Deer Lake Park.
Disliked: The mattress had a well on the side I slept on and I was uncomfortable.

Liked: Friendly staff, swimming pool and hot tub. Plates, cutlery and bowls were missing but this was addressed swiftly by the responsive hotel staff. Everything was clean except for balcony.
Disliked: We were not impressed with the microwave (takes a lot of time to heat food) and the refrigerator (tiny). We switched off the airco while in the room because it is noisy. Balcony was not inviting to sit on.

Liked: We were looking for a nice place to stay on our first days in Vancouver. This place was an excellent choice since it is very near a train station, and very important for me, it is relatively near the Vancouver Trans Canada Trail (https://tctrail.ca). Every morning I went jogging there. At the counter desk, Alex was very kind to give basic information for us to move around the city. It made our trip a lot easier and she also gave us ideas of places to visit.There are supermarkets and a shopping mall within a walking distance. The neighborhood is very nice and safe. Our room was so nice and comfortable that we didn´t want to leave. We had a small living room, a faucet, a microwave oven, dishes and eating cutlery, a fridge and a coffeemaker. I loved to have the washroom out side the bedroom. Other guests were as happy as we were. It was nice to chat with other visitors at the restaurant. I certainly would come back to this place when I come back to Vancouver. I just loved the room.
Disliked: The restaurant service was very slow, although the food was good.The hotel´s gym is very small and basic.

Disappointing! Not a good value...

Liked: Location convenient to Skytrain and shopping, restaurants.
Disliked: No smart TVs; so no Netflix or any other streaming channel. Poor electric setup caused the room to not have power in half of the space.
