Looks can be deceiving

Liked: The owner was extremely cordial and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and just right for the trip we were on.
Disliked: The outlets. However, it is an older motel, and the spacing aren't what they would be if it had been a newer one.

Liked: Convenient. Right on our route.

Liked: Spacious room even with king sized bed. Lo7ng3 chair comfortable.
Disliked: Microwave and coffeemaker provided but no power source where they are located. Not sure if a power strip was stolen, but I had to move the microwave to the desk to get my tea water heated.

Price was right.

Disliked: Made the reservations for my husband. He said no towels in the room. Had to call the front desk. When they brought towels they were not very long or wide. Felt like hand towels.

Liked: This motel represents a very good value in this day and age. The motel is older and the owner has.and continues to make updates: they have new, matresses, heating/ac units, t.v.'s, excellent security locks on entrance to room, paint, shower heads and resurface the tubs. The furniture is older somewhat worn and scheduled for replacement as money permits. The room was clean and oder free. We would stay again. We paid $64.xx. There no breakfast, I did not see a pool; it's not that kind of motel. I do not recall about wifi; we had our own - you have check/ask. It's easy access. They appeal to the working man and woman. Which is fine for us. The motel is not fancy BUT a VERY GOOD place to relax, unwind and lay your head. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. We are husband and wife, retired, no children nor pets and traveling North to South for the winter. As I said: we would stay again.
Disliked: Obviously, there was nothing to dislike. The owner takes pride in his motel and working make it nice place stay, dispite the fact that is a older style motel. It has drive-up to your room parking and outside entrance.
