Pleasant enough

Liked: Great location, very clean, wonderful big bath and amazing beds and bedding.
Disliked: This is a homely spot in a convenient location. However, the decor is very dated, and hosts are rather hands-off and leave all kinds of strict instructions that don't make for a welcoming space. Baked goods provided were more decorative than edible and were beyond stale. Unfortunately, while comfortable, this wasn't the best experience or value for money.

We plan to stay again!

Liked: Breakfast was very good - granola, fresh fruit, croissants, yogurt. It was the cleanest B&B I've ever stayed in and extremely convenient. Fantastic assortment of extras such as iron and ironing board, downstairs leisure room with extra supplies games etc. Very thoughtful.
Disliked: It was absolutely contactless. We never met the host or family. We were only able to contact them by text. It took a while for the house to receive our text as he was out of the country. We were concerned that if we accidentally got locked out it would take a while to get help. The family lived in the same building and I suppose we could have knocked on their door.

Overnight stay en route home....

Liked: Clean, comfortable beds, croissants and granola and yogurt left for breakfast. Self checkin was well communicated and very easy.
Disliked: Too many “signs”. It was a lovely room but there were multiple notes and signs advising what not to do. Made it hard to relax.
