Property with promise to get...
Liked: This property has a lot going for it. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room had resistance bands, a yoga ball, and foam rollers in addition to a gym downstairs, which is phenomenal. The restaurant downstairs and convenience foods area looked fantastic, and they had a nice little wine and beer bar.
Disliked: This is the tricky part. The property had some glaring needs for improvement - for one, they were sorely understaffed. At check-out time for instance, there was ONLY ONE staff person on site, trying to manage requests from rooms and the check-outs single handedly. She was doing her best, but I was part of a line of folks waiting for someone for around 10 minutes waiting for someone to even be present at the desk. Of the two elevators for guests to take to the guest floors, only one was ever operational the entire weekend. This wouldn't have been so bad, but apparently there was not a separate service elevator for the housekeeping staff - and guests were having to cram in with housekeeping staff and carts, and there were lengthy delays waiting for elevators as a result. A fire alarm was activated on the first morning, but wasn't really explained or understood. Also - no big deal, but although we could tell housekeeping had been through our room because towels were replenished, the bed was left unmade. Overall, the comfortable bed and cool property outweighed the negatives.

Beware: Service leaves A LOT...
Liked: Great location, nice room.
Disliked: I had an issue the first night where I was sick and needed to replace my comforter. It took three chats with the front desk, speaking to five different CSRs at IHG (corporate), and over 12 hours. Ultimately, I ended up moving rooms just to get a new comforter. I'm still waiting on management to call me to resolve this urgent matter, and it's been 5 days...well outside of the 24 hours that I was promised. In addition, I was charged a mysterious $87 fee that wasn't disclosed to me and I'm still fighting to get that returned to my card.

Liked: Hotel felt very safe for my family and i the location was phenomenal we were close by everything it was unbelievable will definitely come back when I travel back to Houston
