Liked: The friendly staff and room windows that actually open.
Disliked: The room was a little small, with limited space to put things. Two elevators is insufficient for a building this size, and there were often long waits for an elevator.

Wellness hotel away from busy...
Liked: Downtown Brooklyn is a much quieter area than anywhere in Manhattan, and has a more local "village" feel as you head further away from Manhattan. That said, it's still an easy subway ride to lower- and midtown- Manhattan.
This suits the style of the hotel, which is all about wellness and exercise and taking care of yourself (away from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan). It has a well-equipped gym, healthy menu, sizeable rooms, beds and bathrooms.
Disliked: The only con is if you want to use this as a base but want to do more activities from midtown- to upper- Manhattan. The subway ride can get a bit long.

Liked: It?s clean and rooms are a good size. Great location.
Disliked: I was checked out of my room and placed into a new room without being told. I ordered food and they wouldn?t let it be delivered to my room, nor would anyone bring it up so I would have to leave my room to go collect it, but also when collecting it downstairs I would just say that?s my food and they wouldn?t ask what room meaning anyone could go get my food.

Liked: Interesting concept of the hotels with working out place in the room. Located in downtown Brooklyn close to subway stations. Good breakfast on site.

Room too small, staff too...
Liked: Breakfast was probably the best part.
Disliked: Very tiny room & missing some basics: like a full-length mirror. Had a damp or musky smell in the room, probably the air conditioning. I called room service for a shower cap, thought they forgot as arrived 30 minutes later. Didn't bother to call room service again as they didn't seem to have any urgency. Mentioned disappointment at checkout about these issues, but was never contacted by management for a follow-up.
