Pleasant, a nice few days...

Liked: Hotel itself was nice, staff where very helpful, the barman was really nice and explained so many things about the drinks to make the overall experience that little bit more authentic.
Disliked: As a bit of a bargain hunter, I booked this as it was showing a large saving on the normal price. But I have to say if I had paid the normal price I would have been really disappointed. It was a "nice" hotel but nothing more. I had filtered my search to soundproof hotels as I'm a really light sleeper, but it certainly wasnt soundproof and could hear the trains although they stopped quite early which helped. Gym was also very basic, and I'd expect something better from an alleged 5* hotel. There was nothing bad about the place, but no way would I pay full whack for it.
